She found herself working with female farmers who suffered from lower back pain and high levels of stress due to their demanding lives and vigorous manual work schedules. She then traveled to Indonesia to study Hatha yoga, where she received her 200-hour RYT certification. Upon completion she moved to Pittsburgh, PA where she began teaching yoga to the Carnegie Mellon University community. She has trained athletes from all disciplines, as well as being a valued member of the CMU athletics department.
